Wanted to let everyone know that Mo. Rep. Wanda Brown has scheduled a town hall in Warsaw for Wed. Dec.7th...7pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Hwy 83...her news release to me indicated Speakers will include Jerry Dill, county surveyor along with representatives from Hartzler and Blunt will attend plus Ameren staff. Bob's No Wake Zone Radio Show and our radio stations KDKD FM and KXEA FM will be present with mics open and recording. We'll have the audio posted to the web within a day or so following the meeting. Boat Show Kicks off the year!
The Lake of the Ozarks Marine Dealers Association Spring In-The-Water Boat Show is the weekend of April 15-16-17 at Dog Days Bar and Grill...just off Hwy 54 and the Grand Glaize Bridge. Bob's No Wake Zone and 95.3 KDKD and 104.9 The Eagle will be broadcasting live on Saturday from 9-1. Stop by for some free goodies from BOAT US, BOAT US Angler, Latitudes and Attitudes, Bridal Cave, and register for our big prizes A weekend at Camden on the Lake, a 4-in-1 Towable from West Marine-Osage Beach, and a 1-year subscription to Latitudes and Attitudes. Mo and Kim will be my trusted assistants for that day and they'll be handing out all the goodies while I'm doing interviews and live broadcasts on the radio stations. Hope you'll stop by! Spring and the sound of boat engines starting!
It's about time! Spring 2011...and the sound of boat engines coming to life this past weekend was a wonderful thing! I've started to record new features for the web site including something just posted with Sgt. Jerry Callahan of the Missouri Water Patrol about the upcoming Boating Certification Class at Warsaw on April 16th.
We also just finished an interview with Steve Levi or BOAT US Angler and will have that posted up in a few days. He's going to share some info about the new Anglers program called Weight To Win! Sounds like cash to me!
Several product tests will also be underway as we get ready to start cleaning and fixing...replacing and upgrading this season. We'll also be sharing some tips on how to save on fuel...and we'll talk about the 15% ethanol issue.
And most of all...we're going to be broadcasting live from the April In-The-Water Boat Show at Dog Days at the 19MM on Lake of the Ozarks. Stop by and register for some BOAT US Prizes and more. Check my web site for more details.
Have a great spring...and be safe out there. We've already had one boating fatality on Truman this past weekend...no life jacket. Not a good way to start the season.
